Olympia Jail Inmate Search
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office maintains an online jail roster and inmate search tool that allows the public to search for inmates currently in custody at the Thurston County Jail in Olympia, WA. The search can be conducted using the inmate’s name, booking number, or date of birth.

- Access the Thurston County Jail Roster:
- Navigate to the official Thurston County Sheriff’s Office website.
- Locate and click on the ‘Jail’ tab from the homepage’s main menu.
- Under the ‘Jail’ tab, select ‘Jail Roster’ from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Inmate Search Criteria:
- The inmate search page provides three search options:
- Search by Name
- Search by Booking Number
- Search by Date of Birth
- Enter Search Information:
- For the ‘Search by Name’ option, enter the inmate's first and last name in the designated fields.
- For the ‘Search by Booking Number’ option, enter the inmate's booking number in the provided field.
- For the ‘Search by Date of Birth’ option, select the inmate's date of birth using the calendar provided.
- Initiate the Search:
- After entering the search criteria, click on the ‘Search’ button to begin the search process.
- Review the Search Results:
- If the search yields results, a list of inmates matching the search criteria will appear on the screen.
- Each inmate record typically includes information such as the inmate's name, booking number, date of birth, booking date, charges, and current status (e.g., In Custody, Released, etc.).
- Additional Information:
- If the inmate is currently in custody, clicking on their name will provide more detailed information about the inmate, including their mugshot, bond amount, court dates, and other relevant details.
- The jail roster is updated frequently throughout the day to ensure accuracy and reflect the current inmate population.

- Alternatively, individuals can visit the Thurston County Jail located at 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW, Olympia, WA, during designated hours to inquire about an inmate's status or other related information.
